I don't know about you, but I am particular about my pens. I've gone through my fair share of clicky, gel, ballpoint, felt-tip pens in search of the perfect one.
When it comes to note taking, I've found my favorite is a simple Bic Cristal ballpoint pen. No, this isn't a product review, but it's what I've found to be a staple in my office supplies.
I suppose I was introduced to them at my college paper's newsroom, since they were most often the ones laying around (and disappearing). My only complaint is that the pens have a removable cap, not clicky, which I tend to lose.
The way I go through pens, though, I suppose it's a good thing this type is inexpensive. The fancy kind with extra grip was never to my liking, and I can't keep up with smoother pens that write too fast, making my sloppy scribblings even more illegible.
So I was wondering what habits my fellow journalists have? Do you have a go-to pen or just use what's readily available, and why?
